THE EARLY BIRD, CATCHES THE ‘BUSINESS FOR BREAKFAST’ WORM

A review of business first quarter 2017 for the business networking franchise group

We are pleased to announce that businesses across the country has grown this year through cooperation and contacts made as a result of networking and referral marketing.

Business for Breakfast, the UK’s leading the referral marketing franchise platform, has grown its member base with new meetings launching across the country throughout the quarter.

Through the cooperation of its members, new partnerships between members have resulted in business growth and new product launches for a wide variety of businesses.

One such company, Premier Tax Solutions of Stoke-on-Trent, this year partnered with a fellow member to develop new apps to better service clients and for clients to better manage their financial affairs while on the move.

“We are always looking to innovate and find new ways of helping our clients run their financial affairs smartly,” said Vanessa Fuller, co-owner of Premier Tax Solutions. “The app integrates with the popular Xero accountancy software system, it has a receipt management system, which allows users to upload photos of receipts taken on their phones, to the accounts management systems and has a range of useful applications from a GPS system, to track company car mileage, to tax calculators, financial news and a capital gains tax calculator.”

Another success story for the year has been two local companies have joined together after finding how much their businesses compliment each other. Cheshire Brick Lettings & Management specialise in the residential letting market whereas Real Simple Estates specialise in sales.

Both were successful in their own field in and around Cheshire, however coming together they found that they were much more competitive against bigger estate agents resulting in growth for both companies.

One business in Salford, Manchester, has also managed to grow through developing a strong network of contacts through its membership at the Bury Property & Construction group, and a new member of our Salford BforB Ladies group.

Gemma Victoria Voaden, at All Survey Ltd, added;

“We joined BforB to increase our network and gain business,” and it worked with new contracts flying in across the year.

A final Business for Breakfast network franchise success in 2016 includes GEM and Sixothree who joined forces to combine marketing and business support for clients. Ever since the two companies partnered, they have been fielding enquiries for the both services already collaborating on a number of campaigns.

With experts announcing appositive 2% growth for 2017, however this is expected to drop next year to an estimated 1.2% due to the drag on business investment from increased political and economic uncertainty following the ‘Brexit’ vote. This makes business cooperation even more important – placing more values on building partnerships and referral marketing channels to support business growth.
