Phil Austin - Equitimax Insiders Circle Franchisee Case Study

About Me:

I am a 53 years old 'Northerner', based in Jersey for the past 15 years, divorced, with one child and a dog.

For the past 25 years I have mainly worked within the Finance Industry, both in the UK and latterly in Jersey. I have worked for various financial services providers, trust and fund businesses, and the Jersey Financial Services Commission.

Why I was looking for new opportunities:

I had come to a crossroads in life, and had major decisions to make. This was mainly a result of having left my last job due to intolerable stress. I took a sabbatical for a few months last year, in order to recover and decide the next step.

I decided to look for self-employed franchise opportunities as I no longer wanted to work in an environment where you reported to someone else, where office politics existed, where ability is not always recognised etc.

Why I choose Equitimax Insiders Circle:

Being able to work from home and have the flexibility to work the days and hours I chose was important to me. I was also looking for a franchise opportunity with low set up costs and good potential income levels.

EIC ticked a lot of my boxes, plus it’s a work from home franchise business you can run at any age and from anywhere in the world, providing you still have your “marbles”!

My experience of Equtimax Insiders Circle so far:

All the people I have dealt with at EIC have been very helpful, both before I joined and since. The business training is well structured, and you progress at your own pace. I have recently see a 28% in a month and hoping to build from there.

My hopes for the future:

My ultimate goals are to be financially independent operating a trading business, comfortable at retirement (abroad), and see my daughter through further education (not cheap living in Jersey).

If I continue to perform as well as I have been doing, all the above goals will be a reality.
