Papa John's opens it's latest pizza delivery franchise in Bradford

Leading pizza franchise delivery store, Papa John’s, has announced its latest store opening in the franchise territory of Bradford, Shipley. New franchisee Johney Rai and his franchise business partner Baljit Singh Kissy plan to build a Papa John’s pizza business portfolio over the next few years.

Johney Rai explains:

“I worked for a major pizza restaurant chain for more than 20 years. As well as time spent as head chef I had various roles including managing the training and development for every team member in 16 countries. However, this meant being away from my family, travelling abroad for up to 7 months of the year so it was time for a change.

“A chance conversation with my friend and now business partner Baljit who had also worked part-time at another pizza company led us to research the market,” Johney continues.

“We explored different brands and I even considered setting up on my own, but when we tried Papa John’s pizza we liked what we tasted and the rest is history!“Even with my background, Papa John’s 6-week training programme was thorough,” confirms Johney. “I was impressed with the accreditation as well as the systems and procedures. It was everything I would expect from a trusted, global brand.”

Johney concludes:
