New franchise store in Milton Keynes for Papa John's

Leading pizza franchise, Papa John’s, has announced its latest store opening within the franchise territory of Wolverton, Milton Keynes.  Run by franchisee Tony Singh, the new pizza franchise outlet has already recruited 15 new local staff to deliver Papa John’s world-class pizza to local residents.  Milton Keynes is also the home of Papa John’s UK and European Campus as well as Papa John’s fresh pizza dough factory, a state-of-the-art facility which supplies around 400 franchised units across the UK on a daily basis. 

 
Tony Singh confirms: 

“I joined Papa John’s as a franchisee in 2002 and with the help of my managers, currently run 12 Papa John’s stores in London and around Milton Keynes, with plans to open two more next year.  The new Wolverton franchise store is a great franchise territory location for us as we can now respond to demand more easily to the North of Milton Keynes.

“Before joining the Papa John’s franchise network, I worked for a rival pizza company, learning the trade as a delivery driver for seven years,” continues Tony.  This experience was invaluable and helped me starting out as I understood the business from the bottom-up – particularly the importance of excellent customer service.  

“Once I joined Papa John’s as a franchisee, I was really impressed with the help and advice I received.  The staff were always there to support me, visiting me regularly to make sure I was happy, and dropping in at short notice if necessary.  My calls and questions would always be answered quickly and I was always welcome at head office if I wanted to meet the management team. I received a lot of help with learning about the area around my store plus the people in it. 

“These days, I am experienced at opening stores however, Papa John’s is still on-hand to assist.  In relation to the Wolverton opening, I was able to take advantage of Papa John’s special incentive scheme for franchisees opening-up which included a free pizza oven,” explains Tony.  “This backing from Papa John’s is really useful when starting a new store.  Over the years it’s true to say it’s been hard work but worth it to build the portfolio of stores I now have.”
